The moment a child is born, they completely transform a home forever. It isn't like an event that happens and passes, they remain with us forever. Baby Jesus coming into the lives of the Holy Family and the shepherd also transformed the world forever. A soul of light burst through, and the world was never the same again. Leanne painted this original in preparation for her own little girl to enter in the world. When her little one comes home, she knows that baby Jesus will also come into her home in a tangible way through the gift of that little soul.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen we had our first baby, we got a bigger house. It was crazy how a big space felt so cramped and small with just one more little body in it. When we had our second, we ended up needing a new car. It was crazy how our spacious car felt so tight with two car seats. When we had our third we ended up needing a bigger car. It was nuts how huge our upgraded car felt until there were three small and little bodies all packed across the back seat. As we are preparing room for our fourth, I am begging God for a bigger heart. I realize how selfish and cramped my old heart was starting to become when there will be five other family members to care for and tend to. My other desires take up so much room. They will need to relocate into a large warm and welcoming heart. This is where the concept came of \"Preparing Him Room,\" because it does indeed feel like when we bring home our baby we will also be bringing Christ home with us.
