Who’s voice are you listening to most?

Satan rushes and God stills. Satan frightens and God reassures. Satan pushes and God leads. Satan confuses and God enlightens. Satan condemns and God forgives. Satan stresses and God calms. Satan discourages and God encourages. Satan worries you and God comforts.

Satan wants to RUSH you and FRIGHTEN you. He really wants to PUSH you and CONFUSE you. He is looking for ways to CONDEMN you and completely STRESS you out. He is seeking ways to DISCOURAGE you and WORRY you.

And our Lord? He longs for the complete opposite for you. He longs to STILL you and REASSURE you. He wants to LEAD you and ENLIGHTEN you. He FORGIVES you and CALMS you. Our God is a God longing to ENCOURAGE you and COMFORT you. How beautiful is that?
